Tupperware VentiSmart 4.4 liters / KlimaOase

Room for your fruit and vegetables, with ventilation you can adjust to the contents.

Want to store a head of lettuce, broccoli, or a supply of peppers neatly? The 4.4-litre Tupperware VentiSmart, also known as KlimaOase, offers room for various types of fruit and vegetables. Use the climate control in the lid to adjust the ventilation. This provides products that belong in the refrigerator with a storage environment that suits their need for airflow.

The generous capacity is ideal when you do several days' worth of shopping. Keep your supply together and easily see what you have left through the transparent container. The green lid and integrated storage guide make this version easy to identify and practical to use.

Adjustable ventilation for fruit and vegetables

Fruit and vegetables continue to breathe after harvest. They use oxygen and release carbon dioxide, among other things. The amount of air exchange needed varies by type. Use the slider in the lid to choose from three ventilation settings.

The guide on the front helps you choose the right setting. Follow the instructions on your VentiSmart and, if possible, store products together that have similar ventilation requirements. This allows you to adjust the setting to the contents of the entire container.

• 4.4-litre capacity: room for larger vegetables or several smaller items.
• Three ventilation settings: adjust the air exchange via the lid.
• Integrated storage guide: settings right at hand.
• Raised base structure: helps reduce contact with collected moisture.
• Transparent container: easily see what you have left.
• Modular design: stack neatly in the refrigerator.

Integrated grid base

The base has a raised grid structure that keeps fruit and vegetables slightly above any collected moisture. This means the contents are less directly exposed to moisture at the bottom of the container. The grid is integrated, so you do not need to insert a separate insert or store it separately.

The shaped base allows air to circulate around the containers when stacked. The different sizes in the VentiSmart range are designed to work together. This is useful when you want to store several types of vegetables separately and keep your refrigerator neatly organised.

How to use the 4.4-litre VentiSmart

First, check that the fruit or vegetables you want to store belong in the refrigerator. Place suitable products in the container, close the lid and choose the ventilation setting according to the guide on the front. Give delicate products plenty of room and avoid compressing the contents.

Check your supply regularly and use products that need to be used first. How long something stays fresh depends on factors such as its initial condition, the type of product and the storage temperature. A neat layout makes it easier to see which ingredients you can use for your next meal.
